The Classic Library Catalogue that’s been around for more than 20 years will be gone. As it was designed at a time when libraries focused mainly on books, it was not able to efficiently search e-resources. This is why we added OneSearch in 2012 as a more powerful search tool to run alongside the Classic Catalogue.

The new system has been designed from the ground up to handle both physical and electronic resources. As everything is now integrated, there is no need to provide two separate search tools.

In the new system, OneSearch will be an all-in-one platform providing all the functions (e.g. inter-branch book transfer) you are familiar with from the Classic Catalogue.
