In general, the Library does not systematically collect any technical standards, however, we do provide access to one major set of standards:
- IEEE Standards: Provides access to over 1800 approved IEEE Standards. In IEEE Xplore, go to the Broswe menu and select "Standards". You can then search by keyword or standard number.
For other standards, you may be able to make use of the collections of those UGC-funded university libraries that have engineering programmes. They have much richer collections of standards.
If you are a holder of the JULAC card, you should be able to enter other UGC-funded university libraries in Hong Kong and make use of their resources while inside their libraries.
Below are a few examples of standards resources at other libraries:
HKUST Library: https://libguides.ust.hk/standards
PolyU Library: https://www.lib.polyu.edu.hk/databases/type/standards-patents
HKU Library: http://sunzi.lib.hku.hk/ER/format/hkul/spt/A/1
