To find where an item is kept in the Library, you will need the following information from its OneSearch record:
With the above information in hand, click on the "Locate" icon to bring up the relevant location map.
If you can't find a book on the shelf, just come and ask at the Information Desk for help!
Location:
Indicates at which Library an item is located.
Collection:
Most of our books are in the "General" collection, which is the main collection of books that can be borrowed. Other common locations include Shek Mun Campus Library, Special Collections & Archives, and Popular Books.
Call Number:
Books are arranged on the shelves using call numbers. The call number will allow you to find the precise location item on the shelf.
Status : This shows whether the item is currently checked out or available on the shelf.
