To find where an item is kept in the Library, you will need the following information from its OneSearch record:
Indicates at which Library an item is located.
Most of our books are in the "General" collection, which is the main collection of books that can be borrowed. Other common locations include Shek Mun Campus Library, Special Collections & Archives, and Popular Books.
Books are arranged on the shelves using call numbers. The call number will allow you to find the precise location item on the shelf.
Status : This shows whether the item is currently checked out or available on the shelf.
With the above information in hand, click on the "Locate" icon to bring up the relevant location guide.
If you can't find a book on the shelf, just come and ask at the Information Desk for help!
