Q. How long can I keep an InterLibrary Loan (ILL) item?

For journal articles delivered electronically

The PDF article will be available for thirty days through your ILL account for download. Once you download the file, you can keep it permanently.

For physical items

The loan period is set by the lending library.  In general, loan periods range from two to four weeks.  You can request a renewal of such materials by contacting Interlibrary loan staff at 3411-7445 or by email to libill@hkbu.edu.hk.
