The Library offers a citation certification service to support members of the HKBU community applying for external grants, fellowships, or other similar awards where such documentation is required.
Applicants need to provide a list of their specific publications to be certified. This list will be checked against either (1) the Web of Science Core Collection using the InCites platform or (2) Scopus data using the SciVal platform. As standard, the letter will include details of:
- Total number of Web of Science / Scopus documents
- Average citations per article
- Category normalized citation impact / Field-weighted citation impact
- h-index
Please contact the Library’s Digital Initiatives and Research Cluster (lib-sct@hkbu.ed.hk)
